Myles came to The University of Oklahoma looking to find the place that would allow him to live the college experience the way the world says you should and he found it when he joined the craziest party house on campus. His first two and a half years of college were marked by parties, chasing girls and just enough school to get by.

 

In the fall of his junior year, God started to move in Myles heart by showing him the emptiness of his sin.

 

Myles knew that there were a handful of guys in his fraternity who were involved in StuMo who had initiated with him spiritually in the past. When they had initiated previously, he was uninterested.

 

God prompted Myles to reach out to some StuMo leaders and they invited him to our winter conference, SMC.

 

At SMC, God solidified what he had already began in Myles' heart by opening his eyes fully to the weight of his sin, and the truth that Jesus loved him, died for him, and has a new purpose for him. Myles decided to start following Jesus!

 

Talking about SMC and getting connected with our other student leaders he was blown away by how much fun he could have without alcohol or drugs. Since SMC he has been pursuing sobriety, has been reading his bible consistently, and is hungry to grow spiritually!

 

This past spring he came over to one of the OU staff guys house with all of the drugs he owned and threw them into the fire to officially separate from them.

 

Seeing Myles life transformation is that of 2 Corinthians 5:17 which says,

 

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!"

 

God has made Myles new! He has a conviction for sin and wants to live a God honoring life pursuing Jesus.

 

Myles attended Kaleo this past summer and had an amazing summer. Now as a senior he is leveraging his time and influence to tell other guys about Jesus and becoming a spiritual leader himself.
